Looking into the future seems to always involve something small like a crystal ball. I think that’s too simple. It’s be more fun for something less convenient.

I have something else in the works for next year, so stay tuned for that!

I missed a spooky Halloween story last month and for some reason this one called to me. It’s not only about a folk story gone awry, but in a lot of ways feels like naming waves of anxiety that I get from time to time: that constant fear of the next shoe dropping. I didn’t realize until I was halfway through editing that it really felt familiar.
