A Deal with the Grenor
I’ve had this idea rattling in my head for a while, so I decided to give it a go. Basically, my thought was what would happen if a species of single-celled organisms had a sense of community and lofty goals. How could they do that and what would it look like? In the end, this is what I came up with.

The Black Hound
I missed a spooky Halloween story last month and for some reason this one called to me. It’s not only about a folk story gone awry, but in a lot of ways feels like naming waves of anxiety that I get from time to time: that constant fear of the next shoe dropping. I didn’t realize until I was halfway through editing that it really felt familiar.
